My name is Flip Gordon, I’m from Kalispell, MT, and I currently work for Ring of Honor.

How long have you been in the business and what made you want to become a professional wrestler?

I had my first match a little over 2 years ago on May 6th, 2015 against Biff Busick. It’s always been my dream to be a professional wrestler.

What would you consider the hardest part about being professional athlete?

The training, the diet, the travel, and the discipline.

What are some of your career highlights?

Signing with ROH within 2 years, going to Mexico for CMLL, and my match against Will Ospreay.

If you can name 3 wrestlers who influence your style, who would they be?

Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Paul London.

Who would you put on the Mount Rushmore of Wrestling?

John Cena, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and The Rock.

Who would you say is/are the next breakthrough star(s) in Wrestling?

Maxwell Jacob Friedman

Who are your favourite and dream opponents to face?

Favorite opponents would be the Young Bucks and dream opponent would be John Cena.

You’re in the military and a pro wrestler, what made you want to join the military?

I joined the army with my brother back in 2012 when I was in college.

Why do you think the fans have connected with you so quickly?

I think because they can see how much I love this and just want to put on the best match possible while having fun at the same time.

What’s it like travelling from country to country to wrestle?

It’s amazing and you learn what kind of matches different countries like.

What’s the difference between wrestling in America compared to other places such as Mexico or Japan (if you’ve wrestled in Japan)?

Mexico is very showman based the crowds want to be apart of the show. In The states they still want to be involved but they also want to see a really good fight.

What made you want to sign with/be in ROH?

In my opinion it has the best wrestlers and locker room. I have a lot of friends there and it was the best fit for me.

For anyone unfamiliar with your work, how would you describe your in-ring style and character?

I think I have a hybrid style since I have a background in mma and gymnastics. I don’t want to just be a high flyer.

Do you have your eyes on a championship in ROH?

I would love a shot at the TV Title eventually but I’ve only been there 4 months so I have plenty of time.

One last question.  What’s next for you? Where are you going / what are your plans?

My plans are to just keep learning and wrestling anywhere and everywhere I can.

Are there any people or organisations you’d like to give a special thank you / shout out to?

Thanks to anyone who’s ever booked me and given me the opportunity to do what I love and to all my trainers because without them I wouldn’t be living my dream.
